How does it work?

When enabled, the square foot/meter carton extension replaces the default product page layout for selected carton products with a new layout that shows the following:

• The number of cartons required to fill the order
• The unit of measurement per carton
• The price per carton based on user input
• The total cost for the order

As the user enters their dimensions, the total number of cartons required to fill the order changes automatically as does the price. The user input is automatically rounded up as well. If there are tiered prices setup the price changes accordingly. A default minimum coverage/dimension area can also be set to ensure that customers

1. Install and enable
2. Create three attributes (required)
3. Create a product
4. Create a custom option of type Text Input and title it: Coverage (Title can be whatever you want)
5. Done! It’s that easy.

The next time you visit that product page you will see the new custom layout and custom pricing breakdown.
